We always say that for our recycled wood industry to work, it is very important to show the potential that it has, and we can't think of a better example than David's work.

David Steven is a Victoria surf coast native who has relocated his love of water to the quiet beachside town of Yamba, New South Wales. David honed his craft through a Melbourne-based apprenticeship, a furniture design course and through various other pursuits in woodworking and chairmaking workshops. His dedication and excellence were recognised when he was awarded the CMDA Apprentice Cabinet Maker of the Year in 2017.
